There has been a war that has been ongoing for centuries if not for eons. There have been many millions of victims over time that they have become so common that they are forgotten. Some around them did not even know that their fellow man was involved with the war.

Only in recent times, has it become clearer what the war was all about. A better understanding of the war and the respective battles have been developed and cultivated. The search for the best and most effective weapons goes on a day to day basis, but only with time will the weapons be able to ensure victory.

These heroes that have fought the battles and lost, are only remembered by the families and maybe only for a generation.

This is not a war that knows no geographic borders, nor does it know any culture, race, age, gender or political affiliation. This war not only uses child soldiers to wage war, but also woman and men of all ages in the frontlines.

In recent times better weapons became available to fight this war with, but these are sometimes not as effective as most would like them to be. As time goes by, new and stronger weapons get developed to wage war with, but in some cases, the enemy over run the soldier and decimate them.

The soldiers that enter the war at a late stage of the battle, are usually the ones that fall first as the weapons that are being used has no affect on the outcome of the battle. Every day, worldwide many new soldiers join the ranks of the fighting soldiers, some get the weapons that will ensure they win their battle while others will lose their battle.

It is for these brave soldiers that fall during their battles, which I would like to honour.

Unfortunately there are so many fallen heroes that it would be impossible to get all the names and dates when they fell, therefore it is your duty to let me know when a member of your family has fallen in their battle. The wall that I am creating would honour those that have fallen in battle since the beginning of this year, 2012, and will be ongoing till the 1st of October 2014.

After the 1st of October 2014, the chance to enter the names of the fallen would not be closed, but you will be able to be placed their names on the web page. Only the names, dates that were received by the 1st of October 2014 would be displayed at the end of an event on the 1st of December 2014.
Please ensure that we, as fellow human beings honour those that have fallen and remember their sacrifice by contacting me.

The war is one that can be won, but we all need to work together to make it happen. The war that we all need to fight is the CANCER WAR.
