It's National Cancer Week (31st July to 5th August 2012)
The question that you need to ask yourself, are you going to be one of the 12 million people that will be diagnosed with cancer this year?
The fact that there are so many cases of cancer being diagnosed per year is scary, but the fact that so many diagnoses will be to late for successful treatment is even more scary. The objective of the drive will be to ensure that the message of early detection is even more important so that the treatment can begin as early as possible to ensure effective treatment.

So many cancer patients will lose their lives this year. Do yourself a favor and get tested if you feel that there might be something wrong. Just ensure that you use a credible doctor to get your diagnoses done. This is a national week where more attention is being paid to the effects that cancer have on the individual as well as the community.

Do your share to ensure that you as an individual contribute in some way or another.
